Water restored in Cosmo City after a major pipe burst

Water has been restored in Cosmo City today, 29 July, after a major pipe burst caused a water outage in the area.

Joburg Water said in a statement that the main water pipe is said to have been damaged by a contractor. The burst pipe was on the corner of Ukraine Avenue and Odessa Crescent.

Joburg Water spokesperson, Isaac Dhludhlu said that the technicians have completed the repairs on 29 July and water is currently restored.
