Randburg Customer Service Centre running smoothly

RANDBURG – Services at the Randburg Civic Centre have resumed, with more services to follow soon.

Services at the Randburg Civic Centre have resumed and the centre is ready to deliver these services safely and efficiently.

The Randburg Sun visited the Customer Service Centre and Driver’s Licence Renewal Centre alongside Ward 102 councillor David Potter on 26 June to take a look at how prepared staff and management are for delivering services to the Randburg community. Potter said that he was impressed with the way the centre’s officials were handling services for their customers. “Due to the Covid-19 crisis, their whole operating environment has changed. They have put drastic measures in place to ensure their customers remain socially distant and hygienically clean. I hope that things will run smoothly at the centre during this time.

“The various sections of the Randburg Civic Centre have been marked out, and City and security personnel are ensuring that social distancing, noting who enters the building and hand sanitising is taking place. It is to be noted that services may be disrupted at any time,” said Potter. He added that as of 26 June, drivers licence renewals and billing queries are currently taking place.

“Only those with valid bookings for drivers licence renewals will be allowed to renew their driver’s licences, bookings can be made on the ENatis website. Those over 60 need not make a booking but may proceed directly to the Civic Centre. Operating times may differ to usual times and are subject to change,” said Potter. He added that it is expected that certain motor vehicle-related transactions will be resume in the first week of July.
