NORTHGATE – Details regarding the reopening of the store remain unclear at present.

Pick n Pay at Northgate Shopping Centre has been closed temporarily after a staff member tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

This was confirmed in a statement released on their social media platforms on 23 June.

“The store has been temporarily closed due to a positive case of Covid-19. The store is currently undergoing a deep cleaning and sanitising process and will reopen once this is completed,” the statement said.

Details regarding the reopening of the store remain unclear at present, and the Randburg Sun has contacted the store’s management for further updates.

On their social media accounts, the chain confirmed that a number of their stores have had to be closed at stages and reopened after a deep cleaning across the country.
