NORTHGATE – Pick n Pay at Northgate Shopping Centre has been closed temporarily.

Pick n Pay at Northgate Shopping Centre was closed temporarily on 23 after a staff member tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

This was confirmed in a statement released on their social media platforms. “The store has been temporarily closed due to a positive case of Covid-19. The store is currently undergoing a deep cleaning and sanitising process and will reopen once this is completed,” the statement said.

On their social media accounts, the chain confirmed that a number of their stores have had to be closed at stages and reopened after a deep cleaning across the country.

The store confirmed that it was closed for one day only, and re-opened to customers after the deep cleaning as per health requirements the next day.
