Liebenberg, who went by the stage name Lance James, lived in Bordeaux for 40 years and lived in Blairgowrie before that.

He passed away at the age of 81 on 2 March after being in hospital for seven weeks, six of them in intensive care.

Lance James and Friends is available for R250 plus postage, with R50 per book going to the Covid-19 Relief Fund, soup kitchens, homeless shelter food parcels or any charity of one’s choice.

Afrikaans singer Steve Hofmeyr has signed each copy.

Once payment is received, a book will be set aside to be posted, if necessary, after lockdown. Postage varies from R45 to R99.
