NSH Youth Development looks to the future
JOBURG – NSH has looked forward to celebrating standout youth in their various townships.
The NSH Youth Development expressed excitement to crown standout individuals from townships in Johannesburg North in September. This ceremony will crown Miss Ginger Park Fourways 2020, Miss Cosmo City 2020, Miss Honeydew 2020, Miss Kya Sand 2020, Miss Lion Park 2020, Miss Diepsloot 2020, Miss Itsoseng 2020, Miss North Riding 2020 and Miss and Mr Johannesburg North 2020 which caters for all areas under Johannesburg North as well as the whole rainbow nation.
NSH Youth Development’s mission has been to empower youth aged 18 to 27. The organisation has envisioned a world where the most vulnerable people will have the power to lift themselves out of poverty and create vital, healthy lives for themselves, families and communities.
NSH has expressed a desire to join communities together and emphasise the spirit of Ubuntu through their pageants. They also aimed to keep youth away from crime to focus on extra-mural activities. The activities which build-up to the different rounds of the pageants have helped keep entrants busy, boost their self-esteem and sense of self.
Through their annual charity events and youth activities, NSH has managed to help 925 youth in Cosmo City and Kya Sand from 2013 to date. NSH has pledged to continue doing more for their communities and build the next generation.
NSH Youth Development readily offered their Partnership Proposal for any organisations interested to join in on the Miss and Mr Johannesburg North 2020 Townships Annual Event. The event has been scheduled to take place at Bounce Inc in Fourways Mall during September this year.
Founder Nosipho Hashe enthused that this was ‘an opportunity for companies to exercise their social responsibility and to engage with Joburg North Townships’.
