Collision leaves two dead and two injured in Rooderpoort

ROODEPOORT – Two out of four people have survived.


Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Albertina Sisulu Road in Rooderpoort on 4 April at 14.36pm.

Reports from the scene indicate that two vehicles were involved in a collision.

“Medics assessed the scene and found that two males had sustained fatal injuries and another two male patients had sustained serious injuries,” said Shawn Herbst, media liaison officer at Netcare 911.

“The two seriously injured patients were treated on the scene while the City of Johannesburg Fire and Rescue Services used hydraulic tools to free the occupants,” continued Herbst.

Once treated both patients were transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
