Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge continues to learn electronically

RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge continues to learn amidst coronavirus crisis.

Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge has taken to e-learning to curb the coronavirus pandemic.

Since President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a national shutdown starting midnight on 26 March until 16 April, the school has found itself well-equipped. The school teachers have been trained to deliver lessons online to prepare in case of an event that school might not be able to open on 14 April.

The threat of the spread of Covid-19 has caused many organisations to rethink their structure and prepare for unforeseeable circumstances. When schools were closed on 18 March, whispers of a national shutdown began to circulate in the form of WhatsApp voice notes, emails and word of mouth.

Trinityhouse saw fit to bring the school to the learners, as they were unable to attend due to efforts to decrease the spread of the virus.

The teaching staff at the school were trained to deliver online lessons using Microsoft Teams. The teachers took it in their stride where a level of excitement, creativity and collaboration was the order of the day.

The school thanked all its teachers for their innovative use of technology and continued commitment to exceptional education.
