City of Joburg closes customer service centres amidst the COVID-19 outbreak

JOBURG – The City of Joburg closed its service centres' doors after Ramaphosa declared a national state of disaster.


City of Joburg customers will not be able to use the City’s walk-in centres after the City announced it was decided to temporarily suspend all the centres due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The City has followed in the footsteps of the many organisations that have decided to heed President Cyril Ramaphosa‘s call to maintain social distancing amidst the coronavirus outbreak.

The services were closed with immediate effect starting yesterday, 16 March, until further notice. This is so the City’s staff and customers can be protected.

The City apologised for the inconvenience caused.
