Cosmo City experiences no power and no water on the same day
COSMO CITY – The power and water outage occurred late on 22 March.
Cosmo City residents were left without electricity and water yesterday, 22 March.
Johannesburg Water and City of Joburg were aware of the water outage, as Joburg Water technicians worked on restoring water services.
Water services is being restored and some areas have water now as systems is recharging ^NB

Johannesburg Water tweeted, “Water services are being restored and some areas have water now as systems is recharging. Apologies for the inconvenience.”
Some Cosmo City residents took to Twitter, to try and find some answers on the power outage as well. City Power said on their Twitter page that the power outage at Christiaan De Wet Road was also affecting Honeydew, Welterverden Park and surrounding areas. Power was restored earlier this morning (23 March).
The combination of no electricity and water did not sit well with residents.
Does anyone care that Cosmo City has no water and electricity at the same time @Eskom_SA @JHBWater @GeoffMakhubo @CityofJoburgZA @mphomoerane ? , no update about any of this.

@Eskom_SA are we going through unplanned loadshedding now. Here in Cosmo city / cosmo creek we experience loadshedding without any warning. And when others are not. We experience this 3 to 4 times a week. Just now power went off

Dear @Eskom_SA Cosmo City ext zero and five are the direct customers of Eskom. We experience load shedding more than any other extention in the area. Sometimes it goes beyond the 4&half hours, mostly is six hours.
