St Stithians Girls’ College is double national water polo champions

LYME PARK – Saints Girls' College water polo teams had a great weekend of water polo resulting in them taking both national titles.


St Stithians Girls’ College is incredibly proud of their water polo teams who had a great weekend of water polo resulting in them taking both national titles on 29 February.

The 1st Team won the Old Petrians Tournament and the U15 team won the Shaun Fuchs Trophy.

St Stithians Girls’ College’s MIC (master in charge) of water polo Pierre le Roux said that he is very proud of both the U15 and 1st team water polo girls for the amazing season and recent achievements.

“The U15 team has remained unbeaten and has ended the season as national champions. The 1st team had one loss in 56 games this past season, accumulating an incredible five national titles and three local titles. This following the unbeaten season of 2019 is incredible. The hard work and dedication of every athlete and coach have been incredible.

“Well done to all players, coaches, managers and dedicated supporters and thanks go out to St Peter’s College and Crawford School Lonehill for hosting these awesome events.”
