Randburg to experience a planned power interruption

RANDBURG – City Power has urged residents to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times as the supply may be restored at any time.

While some parts of Joburg have been spared from load-shedding for the past four days, City Power has announced that Randburg will be experiencing a planned power interruption next week Thursday, 5 March.

The interruption will start at 9am and end at 5pm on the same day.

City Power said that the following suburbs will be affected during the power interruption:

President Ridge, Ruiterhof Ext 2, and Ferndale.

“The power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on our network which is part of our programme of constantly striving to provide better
service,” said City Power in a released statement.

Residents are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times as the supply may be restored at any time.

City Power apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions.
