Six children injured after being struck in Cosmo

COSMO CITY – Six children were injured after being hit by a car in Cosmo City.


Six children were injured when they were struck by a light motor vehicle on Tanzania Road in Cosmo City on 18 February.

According to ER24’s Russel Meiring, paramedics arrived on the scene shortly before 8am to find the Provincial EMS already in attendance.

“On assessment, medics found that six children had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene,” said Meiring.

The children were treated for their injuries and were later transported to a provincial hospital for further care. The driver of the light motor vehicle escaped injury.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations. The Randburg Sun is awaiting comment from the Honeydew police.
