Ward 98 councillor wishes her community a Happy New Year

WINDSOR – 'As we look forward to 2020, we celebrate the victories of unprecedented service delivery successes in 2019' – Ward 98 councillor Beverley Weweje.

Ward 98 councillor Beverley Weweje writes:

As we look forward to 2020, we celebrate the victories of unprecedented service delivery successes in 2019.

As we look back, we celebrate as we remember rallying together against the challenges.

Johannesburg Road Agency finalised the resurfacing project for parts of Republic Road and Weltevreden Road in 2019, which has provided a pleasurable driving experience to our road users.

Johannesburg Water upgrades of the water infrastructure in Kelland, was a bain of frustration for residents, but a needed upgrade, after over three decades of no infrastructure maintenance or upgrades.

Despite our challenges with entities, companies and individuals, our community showed an uncanny knack for rallying together. The ways in which we came together to catch many illegal dumpers. Coming together on our many clean up initiatives, to take charge of our community and build community spirit.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish the residents of Ward 98, whom I am honoured to serve, a happy New Year and a prosperous 2020.
