Members of the Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge family flocked to the hall which doubled as the exhibition space for the evening. The excited learners showed off their artistic skills and were elated at the support they received by the Trinityhouse community.

The evening ensured that everyone who attended, walked away from the event enriched as guest speaker Thobile Chittenden, Vega School’s social action partner, spoke to the artistic landscape in South Africa, as well as how technology overlapped the world of creativity.

Chittenden painted the picture of the creative landscape in South Africa and how it overlapped with the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Chittenden also elaborated on the privilege the learners at the school had due to their art department, as it was something which a great deal of government schools in the country did not have access to. Learners were inspired to take their access as a platform to be exceptional in the creative sphere.
