The Honeydew police are seeking information about a man accused of the rape of a nine-year-old girl in the Cosmo City/Zandspruit area.
Honeydew Police Station spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said, “According to information given to us regarding the case, this was not the first time that this had happened with the child. Allegedly, when he was raping her, he told her that if she tells anyone he will kill her.”
The young victim was taken care of at the Honeydew Police Station by their victim support unit. The suspect is a Pedi-speaking male, estimated to be in his early 50s and average height. He was last seen wearing a cream-coloured jersey with black stripes and a blue cap.
