MultiChoice confirmed the fire and said the fire that had broken out at the SuperSport media solutions building in Randburg has been extinguished.

This happened at Oak Avenue around 1pm Tuesday afternoon (15 October) on the roof of the building, where the generator is.

Chad Bezuidenhout from Specials Ops security services confirmed that they were first to arrive at the scene and they were met with a blaze that was coming from the rooftop.

A spokesperson of the Emergency Management Services (EMS), Nana Radebe said that a structural fire broke out just before 1pm, she explains what happened below:
