JMPD spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Wayne Minnaar has said the protest action on Malibongwe Drive is ‘on and off’.

Motorists are advised to be cautious on the roads in Diepsloot this morning (14 October) due to the protest action on Malibongwe Drive, the N14 intersection and the R114.
The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said officers are currently being sent to maintain the situation. “The protest action is pretty bad and it is causing traffic through Lanseria.
“We warn motorists to be cautious.”
