Peggie Mars of Wheel Well has been nominated for the Woman of Stature Annual Awards evening which will be hosted at the newly renovated Indaba Hotel on 2 November.
This year will be the first time the awards are hosted by the Woman of Stature Foundation as a fundraiser. The Woman of Stature (WoS) Foundation has been formed as the Woman of Stature Social Responsibility Programme primarily to subsidise women from all walks of life to receive personal and professional development.
Mars beamed, “[She was] completely taken by surprise and could not believe it! It is an enormous honour to be counted amongst these phenomenal women who do so much to better the lives of others.”
The car-seat safety expert has made various strides towards her mission to improve the protection of children in road safety.
The Woman if Stature team announced that nominees have more than doubled in numbers between its 2013 inception and felt this implies that the Woman of Stature brand and its annual awards have gained credibility as a nationally recognised platform with whom successful, impactful South African Women feel proudly associated.
Category winners will follow a stringent adjudication process which will span over two months and consist of an adjudication panel comprised of highly regarded professionals from the corporate, public, consulting and private sectors in South Africa.
