Randburg customer service centre has a few new changes you need to know

RANDBURG – The service centre changes are aimed at improving customer service and resolving issues at a quicker rate.

The Randburg Customer Service Centre located at Randburg Civic Centre (Bram Fischer Drive corner Jan Smuts Avenue) has added some new service additions and new operating hours.

A statement released by councillors of Region B have provided details on some of the changes:

Operating hours:

Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 3.30pm, except Thursdays, 9am to 3.30pm.

Saturdays: 7am to 12pm. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Billing of City of Johannesburg accounts occur usually in the period of the 26th to 30th of a month and the system is locked for changes to accounts during this time. However, customer service agents at the service centre will still manage to log service tickets and access to City accounts in order to assist customers with logging of queries or printing of statements. The changes or query resolution, however, cannot be done during this time.

As of 1 August, the service centre now has billing resolvers on-site to resolve certain queries at a quicker rate.

Floor management has been introduced to improve customer service at the Randburg Walk-in Centre, residents are encouraged to register to get their City account by email or on E-Services by visiting https://eservices.joburg.org.za
