Linden police detain man for being in possession of a stolen vehicle

CRESTA – The station detained a suspect found in the vehicle.


A suspect will soon appear at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court to face charges of possession of stolen vehicle.

According to Constable Takalani Matumba of Linden Police Station, they received a complaint about a suspicious vehicle at a local shopping centre found along Beyers Naudé Drive. “On arrival, the police were shown to a white Toyota Tazz by the security and found a male seated in the vehicle,” she explained.

Matumba added the officers found that the car had been reported stolen at another station and that it had case number. “The suspect was arrested and detained at Linden Police Station.”
