Katlego Bodibe – Trinity’s provincial hockey star

RANDPARK RIDGE – Katlego Bodibe has done exceptionally well playing hockey and earning leadership positions at a provincial level.


Trinityhouse learner Katlego Bodibe was recently selected as vice-captain for the Southern Gauteng U16A Provincial Hockey team.

The team competed at the Inter Provincial Tournament (IPT) held from 24 to 29 June in Pietermaritzburg.

The sporty teen has a total of seven caps at an U16 IPT level at the age of 15 which is an outstanding achievement.

As a result of her IPT exploits, Katlego was one of 36 hockey girls selected by national selectors to be part of the South African U16 squad. As part of the South African squad, she attended a high performance training camp that was held from 29 June to 3 July at Kearsney College in KwaZulu-Natal.

Trinityhouse has been made immensely proud of Katlego’s achievements and look forward to her future hockey exploits.
