Popeyes Restaurant launches first drive through branch in the country

WINDSOR WEST – Popeyes restaurant hosted their VIP grand opening of their first drive-through in the country, just in time for winter.

On 6 June, Popeyes added another restaurant to the chain, located at Hillcrest Centre in Windor West. The branch is a trailblazer, being the first Popeyes drive-through in South Africa, and is perfectly suited to the shopping complex with its limited parking.

The store opening was complete with a red carpet and velvet rope for VIP guests. The restaurant is proudly Halaal and showcases the classic Popeyes menu, hailing from New Orleans, Lousiana. The restaurant was flooded with eager guests from all over to see the new establishment, as well as sample food from the international brand.

Popeyes- themed cupcakes marked the event, the African Jazz Hounds duo played melodic tunes at the entrance and Zana Tea Company provided guests with an opportunity to sample tea from their variety of flavours.
