BREAKING: Duduzane Zuma found not guilty of culpable homicide

RANDBURG – Duduzane Zuma is appearing at the Randburg Magistrates' Court where Magistrate Tebogo Thupaatlase will be handing down the judgment as to whether Jacob Zuma's son, Duduzane will be found guilty of culpable homicide and reckless driving.

In 2014, Duduzane Zuma was involved in an accident that claimed the life of Phumzile Dube after his Porsche hit a puddle of water. Phumzile Dube‘s family is present today at the Randburg Magistrates’ Court.

Jacob Zuma is also present in court today. Magistrate Thupaatlase is going through arguments that were presented by Duduzane Zuma’s defence team and the state. During the court hearing earlier this year, Duduzane Zuma explained that on the day in question, it had been raining heavily and as a result, he couldn’t see the road clearly.

A forensic engineer and an eyewitness also testified that Zuma could not have been driving at high speed. The court has, however, concluded a driver is expected to take precautions when driving in heavy rain.

Zuma has been found not guilty of culpable homicide in a case of culpable homicide at the Randburg Magistrates’ Court.
