uKheshe app aims to support car guards

LINDEN – uKheshe is there to help provide a simple solution to make payments to car guards easier.

Electronic payment company uKheshe is on board to help provide a simple solution to make paying car guards easier.

uKheshe’s Regardt van der Berg said, “This initiative helps with the community upliftment side of our company. It helps disadvantaged community members to get paid more easily for the services that they provide, and we are always discovering new ways to use uKheshe every day. ”

uKheshe is essentially a digital wallet that allows anyone without a bank account to send and receive cash. The company was started when a man wanted to pay his gardener, but did not have any cash on him.

Van der Berg said, “You do not pay for transfers. It makes life a lot easier for you if you want to send money to your family, garden or domestic worker, or a car guard. If you have a car guard that you see regularly, you can save their details to your app to pay them conveniently.”

Car guards will also have personalised QR codes to make paying them more convenient. Patrons are able to make payments through the app via Zapper, SnapScan, banking apps, and any Mastercard-enabled banking card.

The uKheshe app is available to download on Google Play and the Apple store.
