Police are appealing for information after they made a gruesome discovery of a body in Zandspruit .
Honeydew Police Station spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said, “Police members attended to a call in Zandspruit where, on their arrival, they found the body of a male victim who was badly injured with a wound to his head.”
Paramedics on the scene declared the victim dead on arrival. The body was transferred to the Roodepoort Mortuary. It is suspected that the victim was murdered , but there are no clues yet as to who the suspects are.
“At this time, the case is still under investigation, but we are appealing to the public who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with any information on the matter.”
