Collision between motorbike and car in Honeydew leaves one dead

HONEYDEW – ER24 paramedics found the car on the middle of the road and the motorbike just a short distance away, the biker showed no signs of life.


A 49-year-old man was killed after a collision between a motorbike and a light motor vehicle on Johan Road, Honeydew on 1 May. 

ER24 said their paramedics along with fire services arrived on the scene after 4pm to find a light motor vehicle in the middle of the road with the motorbike on the side of the road.

They found the biker’s body a short distance away, the paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained multiple injuries with no signs of life. He was declared dead on the scene.

The driver of the car and passenger sustained no injuries, local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
