City of Joburg urges customers to use water sparingly

JOHANNESBURG – The MMC for Environment, Infrastructure, and Service Delivery, Councillor Nico de Jager, has reminded all Johannesburg residents that level 1 water restrictions in the municipality are still in place.


In an effort to maintain a culture of water conservation, Johannesburg Water is still implementing Level 1 water restrictions according to section 44 (3) of the Water Services By-law.

The City of Joburg has again urged all customers to continue to use water sparingly as the rain-starved winter months approach.
