Two dogs left without attendance

RANDBURG – Two Labrador puppies abandoned by the owner in the Randpark Ridge

The Randburg SPCA received two black Labrador puppies, a male and a female, which were abandoned in the Randpark Ridge area.

According to the general manager of the SPCA Craig Rudman, the two puppies are not yet up for adoption as an investigation as to who they belong to is still underway.

Rudman added that the dogs were placid so children could play with them. “We would like to assure the public that the puppies are in safe hands and are being attended to by our caring staff.”

He said cruelty to animals, mistreatment, and abandonment were of major concern. The SPCA is reliant on the public for donations and community contributions and this helps the society reach their aim to prevent cruelty towards animals.

“We also focus a lot of our time on educating the public on how to properly treat their animals and the animals around them,” added Rudman.
