MMC for Health and Social Development Mpho Phalatse was in attendance to officially open the Witkoppen Pharmacy at the Witkoppen Health and Wellness centre on 27 March.
The Witkoppen Health and Welfare Center has been in existence for 70 years and reportedly sees over 400 patients on a daily basis.
According to a tweet by City of Joburg’s Health and Social Development, Witkoppen CEO Ashley Walbrugh said that the opening of the new pharmacy wing will fast-track service delivery.
