A grand opening for Pick n Pay

FERNDALE – The store was opened at Ferndale on Republic and customers packed their trolleys full with the day's specials.


Your shopping experience just got a whole lot sweeter at Ferndale on Republic as the shopping centre recently re-opened its Pick n Pay and let’s just say, you’ll have a hard time leaving the store.

Modestus Miltiadou, one of Pick n Pay’s co-owners, said he was very excited about the opening which took place on 28 March. The store has been a part of the community for many years and Miltiadou saw this day as another big achievement for them. “This was also a very emotional day for us, this is a wonderful store for the community,” he said.

When asked what about this store makes it stand out from the rest, he simply answered it was based on the level service, the goods on offer to customers and above all, it is all about family.

When one enters the store they are vibrantly welcomed by an assortment of bouquets, ready for you to buy for that special someone. Also, is that coffee you getting a whiff of? Of course, it is! So why not sit down, grab your best reading material and enjoy your favourite hot drink while you tuck into some of the store’s delectable pastries.

Miltiadou said the store’s family feel has always been important for them to achieve. “We have also treated the staff like family too.”

Their main aim is to see that their customers are happy and that the store adds to making Randburg a great environment for everyone. He also praised centre management for the great job they have done in making Ferndale on Republic such a success for all involved.
