Man shot and killed on Boundary Road in Honeydew

HONEYDEW – 'Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained gunshot wounds to his head, chest, abdomen and showed no signs of life.'

A man was shot-and-killed this morning, 12 February, on Boundary Road in Honeydew, north of Johannesburg.

This is according to a press statement by ER24.

The statement, issued by Russel Meiring in the communications office, said, “ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 8am to find a number of local security members on the scene.

“On further inspection, paramedics found the body of a man lying on the side of the road.

“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained gunshot wounds to his head, chest, abdomen and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.

“The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.”
