It’s time for ‘big school’ at Rand Park Primary

RANDPARK – Excited little ones entered the doors of their Grade 1 classrooms for the first time on 9 January.

Parents made their way to the gates of Rand Park Primary School to wave goodbye for now to their little ones on their first day of ‘big school’ on 9 January.

With some tears shed, mostly by worrying moms, the little ones were eager to meet new friends and the teachers they will come to know over the next year.

School principal Nic Pienaar said, “At Rand Park Primary School, we are so happy to welcome all the bright and shining new faces entering Grade 1 this year. We know that they will be happy at our school, and we hope to give them a bright future as they stay with us until Grade 7.
