Saints share their pride

LYME PARK – St Stithians announces their top students for the matric Class of 2018.

St Stithians Girls’ College’s 96 matric candidates earned the school a 100 per cent pass rate. Ninety-four of their learners qualified for bachelor’s degree studies and the remaining two qualified for diploma studies.

The matric Class of 2018 achieved 246 distinctions – 28 girls achieved four or more distinctions. Kate Pringle and Jennavieve Williams achieved the college’s Academic Honours Summa Cum Laude award, which is an average of 90 per cent and above. Seventy-seven of their girls achieved one or more distinctions.

One learner, Teagan Niemand, was also placed in the IEB’s list for commendable achievement.

Amanda Aitken, Chantelle Guise-Brown, Gabriella Karis, Kate Pringle, Cameron Smith, Stephanie Viljoen and Jennavieve Williams achieved a result in the top 1 per cent of IEB candidates.
