Hoërskool Linden achieves top matric results

LINDEN – There was cheerfulness all around as Hoërskool Linden's Class of 2018 received their results.

Teachers and learners at Hoërskool Linden were in high spirits on 4 January as matric results were handed out to the Class of 2018.

Mariek Roux was top two learner for the Class of 2018 at Hoërskool Linden with 8 distinctions.

Last year 139 learners sat down to write the final end year national examinations for 2018 and Hoërskool Linden was proud to announce their outstanding results for the year 2018. For 27 years in a row the school has attained their pass streak of 100 per cent.

A total of 329 A’s were achieved which equals to about 2.3 A’s per learner and the matric results from the school had a 90.64 per cent university exemption.

Ashleigh Schubert passed matric with five distinctions at Hoërskool Linden.

The top two learners were Liesbet Greyling and Mariek Roux who both received eight A’s. Kate de Wet was the dux learner of 2018 with an average of 93.14 per cent and a total of 7 A’s.
