Guests were treated to a VIP sneak peek of the new Century Cinemax cinema on 12 December at Northgate Shopping Centre.
Visitors were welcomed in the elegant looking and artistically inspired refreshment area with champagne and popcorn to enjoy the occasion. The Randburg Sun was lucky enough to be given a private tour of the VIP section, which boasted soft leather reclining seats, tables for food, a gigantic cinema screen, and Dolby Atmos 7.1 surround sound.
Century Cinemax directors Shafina and Musi Jaffer were there to welcome visitors to the preview event. Shafina said, “I would like to extend a huge word of thanks to everyone who helped out with the development of this cinema, as well a big thank you to Northgate Shopping Centre.
“It has taken a lot of work and dedication from a lot of people, but we truly have made something special for people to enjoy.”
Guests were privileged to experience a private screening of the new Aquaman movie, which will premiere at the cinema on 14 December, during the new cinema’s grand opening.
