School principal Garth Thompson said, “Rewarding diligence and progress are not secondary awards. These awards are huge achievements and have taken a lot of work and dedication on the part of each student.”

As one of the most sought-after awards in the school, and in honour of the school’s founding principal, the Griebenouw Award was awarded to Hafsa Alatovic.

“This award shows what makes a British International School child special. They work hard, they are kind to others, have a good heart, and overcome all problems that come their way, and they do not give up,” Thompson said.
