Top cops rewarded for dedication to Joburg West cluster

JOBURG WEST – SAPS taking the law into their own hands.

The South African Police Service recently held a prize-giving ceremony for the Johannesburg West Cluster on 1 December at Rumours Lounge.

The awards that were given included, Top Individual CPF member, Top Cop, Most Improved and Best Contributor for the Honeydew, Linden, Douglasdale, Randburg, Florida and Roodepoort police stations.

The award for Top Individual CPF member was given to Jon Rosenberg for the Honeydew station, Stefan Kloppers won the award for the Linden station, Freda Boiles won for the Douglasdale station and Darryl Currie won for the Randburg station but unfortunately he wasn’t able to attend, thus a fellow member accepted his reward for him.

The Top CPF member for the entire Johannesburg West Cluster was issued to Freda Boiles. ”

She has quite a reputation for getting things done,” said Captain Troy Laas, a representative for the Johannesburg West Cluster.

 

Acting Chairperson for the Cluster CPF, Obert Mlauzi with Top CPF individual, Freda Boiles and Secretary Margaret Van Zwieten.

The Top Cop awards were given to Warrant Officer Allen Baudry for the Honeydew station, Constable George Knockvov for the Linden station and Constable Craig Satterly for the Douglasdale station. Top Cop for the entire Johannesburg West Cluster was given to Warrant Officer Allen Baudry.

The Most Improved awards were given to Caption Peter Heres for the Honeydew station and Warrant Officer Sean Petzer for the Douglasdale station.

The Best Contributor awards were issued to Constable Celia Mostert and Constable Anton Mostert for the Honeydew station and Warrant Officer Devlin Phillips won the award for the Douglasdale station.

Top EMS service responder for the entire Johannesburg West Cluster was given to Graham Holmquist.
