Mann also said that this year finances were difficult for them, but they will continue to believe and keep their faith strong that all their needs will be met.

The staff and house-mothers are seen as heroes to the youngsters, whom they love unconditionally. Mann said, “Without the staff, they would not have a home for the children.”

The youngsters and staff are looking forward to a big Christmas braai that they have every year.

Next year, they hope they can continue to provide a happy and loving environment for their youngsters, meeting all their needs.

Ulrike said, “If our children are happy and secure then we have won half our battles. I would love to see the children placed with their Forever Families. No matter what, we will continue to love them unconditionally like our own.”
