City-wide clean-up initiative is back

BORDEAUX – A Re Sebetseng is back, and this time, caring about your environment can help you win big.

The City of Joburg’s monthly clean-up initiative, A Re Sebetseng, will be taking place in various communities across the city on 17 November.

Ward 102 councillor David Potter said, “The initiative will take place in Ward 102 this Saturday between 9am and 1pm, and we will meet between June Avenue and Dover Street in Bordeaux.”

According to Potter, the City of Joburg departments and their representatives including social development, development planning, the Johannesburg Roads Agency, City Power, Joburg Water and Pikitup will be out in full force in the area.

Potter also said that those who participate in the clean-up stand a chance to win tickets to a huge music concert that will take place at the end of the year.

He added, “Please use this opportunity to get involved, meet key City officials from departments and entities, do your bit for Ward 102 and the City and stand a chance to win tickets to the concert in December.

“Together, let’s make Johannesburg work towards a cleaner city.”
