PlanetRugby.com gives praise to new sport

RANDPARK RIDGE – A new and exciting sport has hit the fields of Trinityhouse.

ShadowBall has made its way to Trinityhouse in Randpark Ridge. This sport is proven to enhance rugby players’ skills on the field.

ShadowBall is a South African-designed and patented half a rugby ball that rebounds off any wall and comes spiralling back to the passer. For the first time ever, the ball enables players to train solo and boost their passing and catching ability by as much as 266 per cent within four weeks.

The ShadowBall Sport provides a high-performance rate, for eight sessions with eight players per coach. Rugby players’ accuracy and passing techniques are proven to be enhanced by weekly hour sessions in a short period of time.

The ShadowBall Sport can be acknowledged as a manual to the ‘shortcut’ for mastering rugby skills. Ten thousand passes and catches become possible just by practising the sport for ten minutes a day. The sport is already a favourite among school children. One of the parents, Danie Dohmen has confessed, “My son recently had his first session with the ShadowBall team and he enjoyed it immensely.”

Youngsters enjoy practising Shadowball at Trinityhouse.

ShadowBall not only impressed the parents but our well-known, PlanetRugby.com has been extremely impressed by the ShadowBall Sport that even they have given praise to the cutting-edge invention. The inventor, Gary Crookes, mentioned that the most efficient way of improving these skills is to train under supervision with a qualified coach.

Jean van Zyl, head of sports and arts of Trinityhouse said, “Trinityhouse is excited to partner with ShadowBall and offers aspiring players the opportunity to improve their skills.

“This newfound sport has brought smiles to many children engaging in the activity, we can only hope for many more smiles to come.”
