Randburg CPF to host public meeting for Sector 1
RANDBURG – Members of the community are encouraged to join the Randburg CPF for a meeting about Sector 1.
The Randburg Community Policing Forum (CPF) Exco will hold a public meeting for Randburg police Sector 1 on 30 October.
Sector 1 covers the areas of Bordeaux, Clynton, Craighall, Ferndale, Randburg CBD, Glenadrienne, Hurlingham Gardens, Hurlingham Manor, Lyme Park, Oeder Park, Riepen Park, and Willowild.
Interim forum chairperson Daryl Currie said, “The agenda will include a message from Thabo Thipe from the Gauteng Department of Community Safety, who will also give the community of Sector 1 the opportunity to ask questions relating to the CPF.
“We would like to ask the community to make themselves available for this meeting as we will also establish and elect a new Exco for this policing sector forum. This is a very important meeting and we ask that all members make themselves available for it.”
The meeting will start at 6pm at Vega School, 444 Jan Smuts Avenue, Bordeaux.
