Interim Randburg CPF chairperson Daryl Currie said, “We took the opportunity to raise a bit of awareness about the safety on the security of our community.

We set up a stand where community members could come to us and ask questions, and the response from this was fantastic.”

CPF members handed out leaflets with crime prevention tips as well as important emergency numbers to call.

“Hopefully, by engaging with the community like this and in the future, we as the CPF can gain greater support,” added Currie.
