Operation Buya Mthetho clamps down on crime

RANDBURG – Johannesburg West Cluster police conducted the operation along the N14.

Operation Buya Mthetho (bring back the law) continues to clamp down on crime.

The operation does not miss a beat as the Johannesburg West Cluster police recently held a roadblock on the N14 under the command of Brigadier Selepe in order to address crime and clamp down on motorists who violate road traffic regulations.

Operation Buya Mthetho was held on the N14, conducted by the Johannesburg West Cluster police.

Captain Makgowanyana Maja of the Randburg Police Station said officers were hard on motorists who did not comply with the road traffic laws, which meant 18 traffic fines were issued, 209 people and 99 vehicles were searched.

Thanks to Operation Buya Mthetho (bring back the law), 99 cars were searched on the N14.

“Operations of such magnitude will be held continuously in order to fight the crime,” said Maja.
