Windsor resident Laurence Jordaan has won R100 000 in the KFC Rewards competition.
He is the third winner of the monthly draw and he did so by purchasing a meal then dialling the unique code shown on his till slip.
Jordaan frequents the Blackheath KFC branch, buying lunch and supper for his family when he decided to enter his name.
“When they called to notify me that I had won, I thought it was a small amount of money,” said Jordaan.
“So the last three weeks have been surreal so maybe it will sink in the next couple of hours. I have not told my family yet because I thought it might be a scam and did not want to have egg in my face.”
Jordaan has not planned what he will do with the money just yet.
