Vicki Momberg granted R2 000 bail pending her appeal

RANDBURG – The former estate agent was sentenced to three years in prison earlier in the year.

Former estate agent and convicted racist, Vicki Momberg, has been granted R2 000 bail in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court pending her appeal.

This comes after her second attempt on securing an appeal was successfully granted by the South Gauteng High Court earlier this week.

Momberg faced four counts of crimen injuria following an incident where she used the k* word 48 times. She was sentenced to three years in prison.

South Africans have weighed in on the judge’s decision, some saying it was a fair and others in total disagreement.
