August is a month to celebrate women and Randburg Party Hire will honour women with their first Annual Women’s Day Ladies Brunch.
The purpose of this event is to celebrate women from all walks of life on a day filled with some motivational talks and activities, a sex talk, makeup and fashion tips, great food and music.
The theme for this year is, Yes We Can, and Romy Chanee, a certified firewalking instructor from Fire Walking Africa, is going to demonstrate that anything is possible by getting the ladies to walk barefoot on broken glass.
The aim of this exercise is to teach women the unforgettable lesson about the power of the mind. It is going to assist women to integrate the idea that things which seem impossible can be possible.
Randburg Party Hire is a female owned event coordination company, making it the best company to host such an event for women. Esmie Chiseko from the company said they realised that women are always working around the clock to put everyone in their lives before themselves.
“Women always exhibit diversified qualities in the different roles that they play in their lives – as mothers, sisters, wives, friends and daughters – but they don’t celebrate themselves enough.
“Medical studies show that the bond between women is critical to their emotional and physical health, and this is a day for them to get away from daily obligations and share some confidential talk with fellow women. If you are 12, 25, 40 or 75, boy talk never gets old and this is going to be one of the topics.”
Initially, the event was supposed to be for only 60 ladies but due to the high demand for tickets, provisions to accommodate 120 ladies were made and tickets are still available.
The event will take place on 9 August at 435 Aureole Avenue in North Riding. Tickets cost R300 and bookings can be made by calling 082 0700 519.
