Pets Pre School in Bloubosrand was blessed as various organisations visited them to observe their 67 minutes for Mandela.
RSS Security that operates in the Johannesburg North region, brought the children of Pets warm gloves for winter.
Samantha Delporte from RSS said this was their way of giving back to the community and making a difference.
“We have also visited five other nursery schools in Diepsloot, Bloubosrand and the Cosmo City area,” said Delporte.
“It’s winter now and we’ve had some terribly cold mornings so the gloves will warm their little fingers. To see the children’s faces light up as we arrived has been a phenomenal and beautiful experience, warming the heart.”
Pets principal Petricia Mbewu was ecstatic at the help she received during the day, not only from RSS Security but from other organisations as well.
“We are grateful to everyone who has thought about us on Mandela Day and shared their blessings with us,” said Mbewu.
