Community members urged to participate in #MandelaDay book drive
RANDPARK RIDGE – 10 000 books to be collected and donated.
Every member of the community has been called upon to donate to this year’s Mandela Day book drive.
In the spirit of Nelson Mandela’s selflessness, West Pack Lifestyle, Butterfly Products (stationery) and Caxton Local Media have joined forces to collect and donate a whopping 10 000 books for charity.
These books will go a long way in helping to inspire a new generation of book lovers – the children of the 10 selected charities. West Pack Lifestyle will be collecting these books up until 18 July and will, thereafter, proceed with the donations.

Kind-hearted community members flocked to Lifestyle on 15 July to donate the books and stationary lying around their homes and offices.
Shoppers that had been at the store earlier returned to donate books for this great cause. The book drive is also part of West Pack Lifestyle’s 10th birthday celebrations.
They are challenging all community members to match or exceed the 10 000 books they plan on donating. West Pack Lifestyle has stated that if the target is met they will commit to helping more charities across South Africa.
