Caleb Reddy case postponed again

RANDBURG – Caleb Reddy case postponed for toxicology report.

The Reddy family is feeling optimistic that justice will be served sooner rather than later after another postponement in their case. The family filled the Randburg Magistrates’ Court to await the latest in proceedings against the man who allegedly killed their brother Caleb Reddy in a vehicle collision.

The prosecutor for the case, Yusuf Baba, is still waiting for a toxicology report as well as more evidence from the crime scene before the case can continue.

The accused, Samuel Ayeobasan, has been remanded in custody and faces two charges of culpable homicide, one for Caleb and another for his brother Jide, who was also in the vehicle during the accident. Jide died in hospital succumbing to his injuries. Ayeobasan also faces charges of reckless endangerment and drunk driving.
